Slim Traynor is alive and kicking and living in SW France, and on the 25 of May 2008 will celebrate his 80th birthday and although he has been ill with cancer for the past two years, and lost half his tongue he is fighting fit and still plays his beloved mandolin and guitar. He and his other half Carole have many friends and is greatly loved by us all.
