The reason we had two drummers was because Stuart and Clem could dissapear (without warning) backstage then re-appear dressed in anything outlandish they had found and proceed to *loon" about onstage.
For example: We played the Belfry and Stuart appeared in a boiler suit he had found and proceeded to attack the on stage piano with a hammer.
When Clem got off the kit to try and stop the " piano Tuner" Stuart managed to rip one leg off Clems brand new trousers.
We were supporting Arthur Brown and even they were mystified.
