I saw them many times at "The Flamingo Club" in Farnworth, with Eddie Earl compering. They were great. Was very sad to learn of Mike's passing a few years ago. Watched him in "The Colours" at "The Welcome" in Little Hulton just before he passed away.
The big Tudor Pub was the Stocks in Walkden and Stan Wood was the landlord. The group rehearsed in the big club room and Stan's daughter Bev would listen in, being their biggest fan
