The group started life as THE FREEWAY, 4 lads from the Chorlton cum Hardy area. 

We practised furiously and did a couple of gigs.  The first one being November 1964 in the Chorlton British Legion.  With the group names such as Beatles, Animals and Byrds we decided to become The In-Sect
