I am trying to trace any people who knew Johny Masters, of john masters and the mastersounds. Johns son is a friend of mine and had not seen his father since he was 2 yr old. John would like to chat to anyone who knew him and if possible any photographs as he do's not know what his father looked like. I can be contacted at gmusgrove@live.co.uk.
Thank you
Graham Musgrove

I am the proud owner of Charlie Sidebottom's drum kit . Drummer with Deke Bonner and the Tremors. I got the kit from his son Gary and spent a long time restoring it. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of Charlie playing it during the 60's. I believe pictures were taken of Deke Bonner and the Tremors playing 'The Cavern'many years ago.

In reply to Keith Halson -
My parents were both in the band Fairfield Welles and it was a lovely surprise to see them mentioned on this site - I will be directing them here as I am sure it will bring back fantastic memories for them.

Hey Rabeeto

I was the singer in the band
and came up with the name.
I remember us playing at Bernard Mannings club one time and I think Brian broke a string; anyway, while he was changing it Bernard came on and roundly insulted us, much to everyones amusement !

Hi folks, does anyone remember a group/band called Fairfield Wells who used to play the clubs in and around Manchester/Salford and the North West in the late 1960s/early 70s?
They played a number of times at The Talk of the North club in Eccles, l think.
