I just read the entry on the band AXIS from SDtockport.
The lead Guitarist name as been spelt wrong its actually JOHN BOHEN.
He was a cousin of mine, he lived in Edgeley and i remember he built a recording studio in the cell of his parents house.
I also recall there was a band called the 'Cyclones' doing regular gigs during the 60's Alan Kettles name comes to mind

At present i play in a psychedelic jam band Paisley Sky & also a collector of guitars, most recent being a 6/12 string twin neck (1983 jap copy of a Gibson).

The Pete MacLaine gig on the 3/04/08 is for charity. The band's medical records will be available so that people can see the odds for the Dead Pool.Bumper prizes for those who guesses which one of the old farts falls off the perch on the night.

B H Overcharges
Brian always cut a smart appearance, one day approx 35 years ago i went to Barrats to buy my first precision bass, there it was a stunning guitar in white,Brian hovered like a fly as i went through my party stuff,it was then i decided it was for me,I had from memory about £95 cash but Bri was not for moving it was £110 or nothing, after some time i left the shop empty handed and turned to take a last look at the bass in the window and there was Brian playing the guitar and looking at me smiling,so the lesson i learned was next time you see the Harbour lights play pull the plug out
