Pete Maclaine and The Clan Reunion 3 April 2008

Unfortunately Johhny Hynes was laid up with a virus so at the last minute Bernie Byrnes stepped in so that the gig could carry on. Bernie was a drummer with The Clan about 20 years ago and in the '60s he was with Johnny Peters and the Crestas and Ian Crawford and the Boomerangs, so he saved the day!

Sadly, Bernie had an accident on Saturday, damaged his hand and he will require surgery.

The night  was a great success, very, very busy and there were people there who came because they had read about it on Manchesterbeat.  The final tally for Francis House Childrens Hospice was nearly £600 which is fantastic for a little gig in a local pub!!

Incidently The Clan as they are now are playing there on Sunday as their regular once a month gig. So more fun then.
