I played the Cheadle Hulme Parish Hall on a number of occasions with Bobby Laine & The Confederates.  All the other group members lived in Cheadle Hulme so this was their 'home' venue. 

When we played 'Jezebel' all the audience used to turn around, face one wall and then chant something together at the end.  I asked the lads why they did this and never got a meaningful answer. 

Very strange experience!
