Situated in the heart of the Liverpool, Reece's was a multi-floor restaurant.
The first-floor cafeteria converted into a dance hall at weekends (perhaps more regularly in the early sixties).
Negative aspect was getting the gear in the small lift.
The place is regarded as a Beatles historic site because it was the location for John and Cynthia's wedding breakfast. The place wasn't licensed to sell alcohol then so guests toasted them with water.
Memories
My mum and dad met in this club. My mum fancied my dads mate! Got lumbered with my dad ... hence my double chin and round face!
