The Playboys had a No 1 hit in France with a four-track EP on Barclay records where the ‘A’ track was ‘Woolly Bully’ coupled with two James Brown songs – ‘And I do Just What I Want’ & ‘Tell Me What You’re Gonna Do’, and ‘Lipstick Traces’.

There was also a ‘Manchester Playboys Show’ broadcast on Belgian radio in 15 minute weekly slots from a two-hour live performance in Ghent.  Anybody got a copy of the tape?

Hi Tim - I did turn this facility off as I was getting inappropriate images uploaded eg pictures of grandkids, the new bathroomporn, etc.  However, I will give it another go :-)

Just come across this website and of course looked the Manchester Playboys up.  Lovely surprise.  When in my teens I followed them around when in M/c.  Even ran the fan club with a friend for a time.

Didn't this band play at the SHARK'S CLUB in GHENT BELGIUM IN 1966/7?
