Sadly Keith Dobbs and Billy Oliver are no longer with us, but you catch Mike Morris (Drums) and my self (Doug Gill, guitar vocals) still playing together at the Rock 'n' roll jam session every Monday afternoon at the 3 C's Club in Oldham.

Hi Cliff, yes Mike and myself went to the 3 C's Club every Monday until the Corona virus halted everything.  The Abstracts played Langley Labour Club quiet often and I remember we played there once with Dave Berry on the same bill.
The drummer on the earlier photos is Geoff Gill and he recently passed away.

I am the son of The Abstracts original drummer 'Mike Morris'. I was glad to get a chance to work with your Grandad on a one off Country and Western show in Bury around about 30 years ago now.
For many years since, the lads tried tracking him down for a reunion and was shocked to find out he had passed away.

Hi Wes.  Your granddad was an exceptionally talented singer and he had a great mixed taste in music.
