The Beat Boys were formed with a line-up of Kenny Fillingham on lead guitar (b. Kenneth Fillingham, 1941, Wigan, Lancashire, UK), Ronnie Carr on bass (Hofner) (b. Ronald Carr, 1937, 150 Holden Road, Leigh, Lancashire, UK), Ronnie Simms on drums (b. Ronald Simms, 1942, Fairhurst Street, Leigh, Lancashire, UK) and George Twist on rhythm guitar.

So sorry to hear that Ronnie Carr had passed away in late August 2022. Great Guy, leader of the Beat Boys, great band watched many times at Leigh Casino.
