Hi Paul, a few notes on JB4. As Drummer, this was my first group. Although I stayed only short time and almost 60 years ago, I can add a little.  I joined Pete Dudley in the JB4 about 1962 and had a few local outings before I joined Paul Fenda and the TeenBeats. I lived just around the corner from Pete Dudley in Fouracres Road. My first outing with the JB4 (John Bromley Four) was at a local Methodist Hall where we did a free fill in with Arnold Priestshaw. Our debut was so successful  that we received an unexpected fee. I think part of the success was due to the unexpected apprearance of Margaret Hewitt who was straightaway asked to join us. Alas she had other ideas. After the breakkup of the Teenbeats I again worked with Pete Dudley in a reformed Chet Everet and the |Teenbeats before joining a Blues Band at Manchester University called The Basixs with John Morgan. Paul Fenda (Paul Young) went on to a long and successful career with several bands latterly Sad Cafe. During 1963/4 I worked in Jim Renos music store opposite the Palace Theatre in Oxford Road where I met many of Manchesters most well known bands of the time.
