Michaels Angels was mostly Swinton based. The band worked many northern venues, and played Nelson Imperial Ballroom several times as opener for the Small Faces, PP Arnold, and The Kinks. The band reformed as Wild Silk with Paul, Eric, and Pete.

 The lead guitarist was Keith Ewing nicknamed Screw because of the faces he pulled when playing

I used to watch them practice at the Fletcher Hall (behind Swinton Church) when I was a kid, I am Mick and Alan's younger brother.
