The Teenbeats

The Teenbeats started out as The Jets in 1959 in Southport with Doug Edmondson on (lead guitar (Hofner Club 40) (b. 1944), Kevin 'Kev' Fogerty (Kevin Michael Stanhope Fogerty) on rhythm guitar (Antoria) (b. 1944 d. 2001), John 'Boo' Bullock on bass (Hofner) (b. 1944) and Tony Delahunty (Patrick Anthony Delahunty) on bongos, spoons (b. 1944).

In 1959 Delahunty was replaced by drummer Joe Walsh (Joseph B. Walsh) (b. 1943).

In 1959 The Jets became The Teenbeats and Walsh joined The JTs (from 1962) and was replaced by John 'Wilkey' Wilkinson on drums (Ludwig) (b. 1943).
