Groups

It was a time when almost every street had a group! Every junior school class would have group members - my own pre-11 plus class had four guys that I know of that ended up in groups.
Travelling to bookings was not the easiest of things.  If there was a car owner in the family or street, you could be lucky and travel in style.  Otherwise, you took the gear on the bus or, as in my group's early days, on a handcart to local bookings.

The site does not, of course, list all the local groups.  We could make a list as some sites do but we prefer the site to be a read.  A read that reflects such incredible times.

Enoy, comment and add!
